How to configure my items and manage my services?

  • GestiClean Up’ allows to manage the invoicing of services. As a dry-cleaner’s owner, you invoice the provision of a service (trousers cleaning) and not the item itself (trousers).

  • In your dry-cleaning application, most of your articles are created and configured with a default service (usually cleaning), a production period and other settings.

  • To configure your items, please go to the Administration application and click on the “Item settings” panel.

  • Then, you can type the item name in the input field to search for it. Click on the item to select it.

  • Each item file includes 2 tabs of settings:

- TAB 1: modification of basic settings

- TAB 2: management of services linked to the item

TAB 1 - MAIN: modification of basic settings

  1. Item name

  2. Item short reference number

  3. Item price: corresponds to the price of the service linked to the item

  4. Sales tax applied to the item price

  5. Item group selection: GestiClean Up’ allows to assign items to groups, with the purpose of gathering them depending on their nature. For example, you can assign the following services to the sewing group: zip, hem, lining…

  6. Number of garment tags to print: Enter here the number of garment tags you wish to print for this item. Example: for a 2-piece suit, enter 2.

  7. Addition to favourites: Tick this box if you want this item to appear in your favourites tab.

  8. Quick access tab: Select the tab in which you want this item to appear.

  9. Selection of production period: Leave the default period to 48 hours if this item includes a default service. If you don’t use the services management, you can enter a production period here. NB – If several periods are set, the longer period will be automatically selected.

  10. Unit: Select here the unit you wish to use for the price calculation of your services on a given item: item, square meters or kg.

TAB 2 - SERVICES: management of services linked to the item

  • Add a service by clicking on the pink button [+] (on the bottom right)

  • Delete a service linked to the item you are configuring by clicking on the bin

  • To edit a service, click on […] on the right of the service line

On the screen "Price and details of the services"

  1. Service name

  2. Service price

  3. Tick this box if you want this service to be the default service linked to this item

  4. Item group selection
